Emmons Fretboard - Chrome 26 Frets
You asked for them -- and here they are!
Buddy Emmons was extremely proud of his original artwork on his first fretboards, featuring 24 frets at that time. When the ReSound'65 was introduced, we diligently re-created the artwork and vibrant colors Buddy had penned, including the 24 fret configuration. Because the original artwork and colors are so striking compared to later watered-down versions, there was instant demand from Emmons owners wanting them for their guitars. Unfortunately, since Emmons fretboards were changed to 26 frets around 1966, the ones we had made would not work for later guitars without refinishing the top of the neck.
So...
We listened to our customers and made 26 fret versions in the original chrome fret scheme, as well as white line frets, so you can choose your favorite! These are the correct scale length for any Emmons guitar, and are super easy to install. Make Buddy proud by sprucing up your favorite Emmons with some artwork from the man himself!
